WINE
It is with great excitement that we share with you that Terroir Zornitza 2020 was awarded The Best of Show Bulgaria at the 12th Balkans International Wine Competition and Festival, which took place in Sofia from June 22 to 24! The blend – Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Marcellan and Cinsault received the unbelievable 97 points from respected international jury at the wine competition held in Romania in early June! The other wine with which we participated in the competition – Semillon Late Harvest Zornitza, deserved a silver medal and 86 points.
And that’s not the only great wine news – our new vintage of three wonderful wines is now at your disposal at the Estate. Coupage 2021 is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. We will also surprise you with an unusual blend of Merlot and the typical Southern France varieties Syrah and Mourvedre – Mourvedre, Syrah, Merlot 2021. And, of course, the signature variety of the region Broad-leaved Melnik vine: Melnilk 2022, featuring less tannins and alcohol and delicate aromas of red fruits.
Add flavor and style to your summer with the superb wines of Zornitza Family Estate Relais & Châteaux!
